City Pass offers great prices on popular attractions - inkkideas.com

If you plan to visit Seattle Washington and spend a few days in the city, you may seriously consider purchasing a city pass. This ticket allows you to experience some of the most famous things this great city has to offer at a fraction of their regular prices. It will also enable daily travel (daily from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.) on the metro system. This pass is valid for nine days from first use and offers you several options for activities during your stay.

The first activity that these passes offer is a visit to the Museum of Flight.

Watch in awe as aviation history comes to life before your eyes. From the first flights of the Air Force to flight simulators of today's jet aircraft, this museum has a little something to offer every child, young and old, in your group. Enjoy the many exhibits and family activities available here, and have fun exploring the history of personal and military aviation in a foreign country. This is something I would recommend even though it wasn't part of the pass and is well worth a visit.

The Seattle Harbor Tour is another event on this list. This trip is offered by Argosy Cruises and will be the highlight of your stay in Seattle. If that's not the highlight, maybe it's the energy you need to try some of the more in-depth tours that Argosy has to offer. This tour lasts about an hour and offers a tour of the harbor while pointing out some of the amazing places around Seattle. You have the option to upgrade your sailing to one of Argosy's other sailings for further savings. If you've never been on the open water before, I recommend starting with a small boat and seeing how your sea legs (and stomach) fit before you go on a long cruise or dinner.

Next up is a favorite for kids of all ages – yes, the mom and dad characters. This is a trip to Woodland Park Zoo. This zoo has won awards for its nature exhibits and entertains visitors as well. This zoo is more than lions, tigers and bears. This zoo has so much to offer that any family can make a day out of it and I seriously recommend you do. While you're there, you might want to hop over to the rose garden next door (the rose garden is free but very beautiful) and enjoy the beauty and scent of roses.

Next is the Pacific Science Center. From video games and laser shows to fascinating science exhibits, the Pacific Science Center is truly a fun place to visit. While you're there, you might want to check out the IMAX theater to see what's playing there. Permanent exhibits include a Mesozoic era dinosaur exhibit, a tropical butterfly house, an insect village, and a saltwater pond where little ones can see and touch the many creatures found in Puget Sound.

And finally, the Seattle Aquarium, which really needs no explanation. Explore life under the sea and the many saltwater and freshwater creatures that can be found in and around Puget Sound. This will be a highlight for everyone in your group, I can almost guarantee.

If some or most of these appeal to you and/or your travel companions, then buying a city pass is probably a wise investment. Even if you can't visit all the attractions, you can save money by visiting a few.
